Superb unisex bracelet featuring a gorgeous hand sculpt and polished Baltic Amber stone, translucent and with a beautiful hot honey color.

I mounted this stone on my precious leather that I braided and I used a black pearl of Tahiti as clasp.

Some time ago, I came across a very small lot of unusual amber pearl of very good quality carved by hand while losing myself in the mazes of the old Istanbul grand Bazaar. I immediately fell in love with the color and shape of these stones and brought them back with me. I have a dozen, all slightly different.

Are you going to have one of them ??!

---------------------------------------------------

Baltic Amber, or succinite, is a fossilized plant resin produced by conifers from the Eocene period, about 45 million years ago.

Amber succin is magnetized in contact with the skin with the particularity of being negatively charged. By friction, amber loses electrons and thus becomes electrostatic and emits negative ions. Its electrostatic qualities are known since Thales (600 BC) and have earned the name of Ambre succin the name of Electrum which will later give the word electricity..

Contrary to what we imagine, amber is not an inert matter and has many volatile elements. In contact with the skin, by friction and the heat that our body releases, there is a real exchange between amber and our body. This one then receives succinic acid molecules, camphor, terpenes. Admittedly, these are minute doses, but they are sufficient to act favorably on the organism.

Although it is not a mineral matter, natural amber is considered a gem. It is an organic gem just like coral, jet, pearls and ivory.

We find the first traces of use of natural amber in prehistory. Further, the Celts have used Amber in the form of pearls since the 6th century BC. Moreover, this resin has been the subject of an important trade in antiquity. The Amber Road, which was one of the most important trading routes of classical antiquity, linked the Baltic Sea with the Mediterranean Sea from the Bronze Age.

This material was also known in China at the time of the Han, two centuries before our era. Worn in jewelry since ancient times, Amber was soon attributed properties and virtues beneficial. He was especially associated with the eternal youth because it seemed to preserve the plants and animals that were included. For their part, the Slavs associate this stone with the petrified tears of the gods, thus using it as a talisman against the various difficulties they face.

Your PEARLS like be brought but dislike being perfumed or creamed respecting the old adage: "the beads should be the last thing you put on and the first you remove."

The LEATHER must be hydrated whenever he shows signs of drought.
