Exceptional 16/17 MM+ focal Tahitian pearl leather necklace "claw-mounted" on my precious hand rolled leather with traditional sailor knots.
The knotting of the pearl, which is both delicate, resistant and original, is accentuated by the knots made symmetrically throughout the leather lace.
The clasp is another 10/11 mm Tahitian pearl.
Tahitian pearls generally range from 8mm to 15mm, rarely to 16mm and even less more than 17mm, this represents barely 1% of the total production, even less if the pearl is beautiful and shiny.
It takes several years for an oyster to produce an exceptional pearl of this size in the protected lagoons of the Tahitian islands.
